SERIES EHG versus the new EHG SL10

The new EHG SL10 and the SERIES EHG have several features in common. Both controllers have an expected life of over four million cycles. They also both have the same high and low temperature alert functions, same hysteresis and same operating temperatures. However, the new EHG SL10 process controller and safety limit has increased power and functionality over the original SERIES EHG. The EHG SL10 can reach 264V~(ac) and run up to 50/60 Hz isolated. In addition, Watlow's new EHG SL10 has two isolated Type K thermocouples, is resetable up to 200°C and has optional modules, which allow diagnostic readings and added communications.

The SERIES EHG is primarily used with a Watlow flexible heater, however; though the EHG SL10's initial product offering is only specified with a flexible heater, it will eventually be sold with any type of Watlow heater. The EHG SL10 will not replace the SERIES EHG. It still remains in production.
