The 200 mm heaters are the first products that are off-the-shelf offerings. The pedestal heater design is ideal for prototype machine trials, engineering experiments and temporary repairs until custom heaters can be manufactured.

"This is a step we felt we needed to take in order to provide our customers with heaters that will meet their fabrication requirements without the need to custom order every time," says Pat Kinane, plant manager of Watlow Batavia. "This product offers customers an immediate solution to fab downtime while their custom-heated part is being manufactured."

The aluminum pedestal heaters provide a complete turnkey solution in anodized or bare 356 aluminum. The stock anodized cast aluminum pedestal heaters are complete, ready-to-install parts available for same-day shipment. The heaters provide customers with a cost-effective way to reduce downtime and support 200 mm wafer processing. The heaters also have operating temperature capacities of up to 350°C and temperature uniformity +/- 1.0°C at 150°C. The bare special configured model can be customized from a list of options and is available with one to two week delivery time, depending on the options selected.
