Costa comes to Watlow from Gerber Coburn Inc., an international manufacturer of ophthalmic lens manufacturing equipment, where he held the position of group product manager, and was responsible for managing a $40 million line of processing equipment and related supplies. Prior to Gerber Coburn, Costa worked as the general manager of Frankoma Pottery, a manufacturer of consumer ceramics products, and was a technical sales representative for Morton International, a manufacturer of high performance specialty coatings.

"Kyle's experience in product line strategic planning, new product development, pricing strategy formulation and the formulation of marketing and promotion plans position him for success in his new role," said Steve Griffith, heaters general manager.

Costa received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering and a Master of Science degree in management from Purdue University, Ind.
