 St. Louis (May 3, 2004) - Watlow, a St. Louis-based provider of thermal components and solutions, recently appointed Chris Gaffney as applications and technical services manager of the information systems group. Gaffney will report to Paul Smith, chief information officer.
Gaffney comes to Watlow from AppIntell, Inc., a St. Louis-based company specializing in fraud detection software and services, where he managed customer implementation and integration, strategic partner alliances and data vendor relationships. Prior to AppIntell, Gaffney was manager of EDI, e-commerce and revenue management for Solutia, Inc. and earlier, a project leader for the company's controllership organization. He also worked for Monsanto Company, in the position of systems project leader.
Gaffney received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Southwest Missouri State University, and currently resides in St. Charles, Mo.
